Welcome
I’m Kasia, formerly a London-based photographer for a decade, I’m now based in the beautiful city of Brno, Czech Republic.
I grew up in the south of Poland, in a little town surrounded by forest, lakes and rivers. Freedom of my childhood shaped in great measure the visual aesthetic I am using now. I believe that image should be natural and truthful even if it sometimes means it will be messy…
When I moved to the UK, a world of photographic opportunity opened up to me, and so my camera and I studied together at the University of West London.
I had an opportunity to be tough and have lectures with contributors of todays contemprorary photography. I will be forever grateful to Carol Hudson for introducing me to the word of editorial photography. Matt Finn for being demanding and extremely supportive darkroom lecture. Ed Davis for technical support and being patients Adobe guru. Ben Roberts and Matt Finn for sharing a backstage of theirs successful careers.
University thought me a respect to a photography medium so each photograph I take is capturing something powerful and unspoken. My aim is to present you with a piece of still image which in 10, 20, 30 or more years would bring all your senses to that very moment.
As a person I ma really open minded and simply… happy. I live in central Europe with my Partner Pavlina and two cats CoCo and Puszek. I enjoy meeting and working with new people. Listen to their stories and tell them mine. I love new challenges and moving around. Even if you are on the other side of the globe, please don’t hesitate to contact me, in 2020 we are closer than ever before.
